Found in the summer of 2020, TAK Aviation is a flying club found by business and aviation professionals who recognized the need for a proper flying club where individuals can in addition to renting aircraft, be able to gather, socialize and exchange ideas or experiences.

Although we are still at the growing stages of this industry, we are steadily growing our membership and constantly working to provide an affordable, friendly and enjoyable service to our members. With our main office in the Greater Toronto Area and operations out of Peterborough and Toronto Buttonville airports, we mainly service the southern Ontario market, however when given proper notice, we will reposition the aircraft at an airport of your choice, within a reasonable distance. We do not provide flight training as we are not a flight training unit and at the moment that is not in our expansion plans.

Aircraft rental service is provided to those interested in flying for personal/private business and pleasure. We have a proper insurance set up which covers rentals and it is noted in our policy. Unfortunately many private owners in many airports do not have the rental coverage in their policies and yet they still offer "rental" services. It is important to know and confirm your coverage as most private business and pleasure insurance policies do not cover the owner or the pilot if the owner is using the aircraft for "hire." Do your research before flying an airplane that is not yours.
